I’ve spent a great deal of time lately trying to decide why change is such an important thing in my life.

Why do I always venture down the road less travelled?

Most people do it for attention.  Attention’s nice, I guess, but I’m not too big on it.  I like to give attention more than receive it.

So why?  It came to me late last night while I was watching this story on TV about a widow who had to struggle through the welfare system with her three kids.  She worked so hard and now she’s a successful lawyer with a nice suburban house and kids in college.

She’s a success story.  Watching her story made me feel good.  And THAT’s why I’ve always ventured for radical change.

Someday I want people to hear about, read about, know about me - and I want that to make them feel good.
